Our Mission
Our society exists as a Squadron Sponsoring Committee providing moral support and financial assistance to the Royal Canadian Legion Air Cadet Unit #733. Members of the Committee are expected to volunteer and to participate in Squadron Sponsoring Committee fundraising activities, assist with Squadron 733 activities where requested, and attend Squadron Sponsoring Committee Meetings.

To help support the Royal Canadian Legion Air Cadet Unit #733, the Drayton Valley Air Cadet Parent Society runs fundraising events including:

bottle drives

drive-home services for weddings, christmas parties, golf tournaments, etc

assisting the Legion with Poppy sales around Remembrance Day

community BBQ events

other fundraising sales from time to time

The funds raised in these events goes directly to support the Air Cadet Unit with necessary expenses like upkeep of the building that they train and practice in, learning opportunities, equipment and team-building exercises.

Our Air Cadet Unit trains and practices out of a former Brazeau County Maintenance Building, located at
5524 Industrial Rd, Drayton Valley, AB
Training Nights are Tuesdays from September to June, 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Committee meetings for the Parent Society are often held on Tuesday evenings. Please contact the secretary to inquire about the next committee meeting date.
